David Glenn Trippe

Mr. David "Glenn" Trippe, 71, of Riverdale Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023 surrounded by family and friends in the home of his daughter, Kellie Willis in Newnan, GA. He was born November 27, 1951 in Tryon, North Carolina to the late Albert Lee Trippe Jr and Bobbie Busby DeWalt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Edward Trippe. Glenn grew up in College Park and was a 1969 graduate of North Clayton High School. He also attended Clayton Junior College (now Clayton State University) for General Business. He retired as a superintendent of 20 years for Benise Dowling. After retiring, and for the past 5 years he worked part time for Futimis Systems Inc as safety manager. He was highly valued and respected by both companies and employees. Glenn spent most of his time working and helping others. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for someone. When he was not working he loved riding his motorcycle, attending car shows, rooting for Alabama football, taking trips to Alaska, and being with friends and family- especially his daughter and grandsons. There wasn't a story he didn't have for you or a witty comment to serve you. He was one in a million and always left you feeling that way. If it was Sunday there was a high probability he was at El Ranchero. He often dreamt of relocating to Elberton, GA, where his close friend and cousin Annette resides. Glenn loved his friends and family dearly and will be missed immensely. Erwin (Bob) of Elberton, GA, Carolyn T. Wilder of Kennesaw, GA, Sandra N. Fleming (Sam), of Abbeville, SC, Donald R.
