Dennis Allen Glowacki

Dennis A Glowacki, age 68, of Newnan, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his home in Newnan with his wife by his side. Denny was born March 18, 1948 in Chicago, IL to the late Louis and Jeanette (D’Errico) Glowacki. Denny was the husband of Mary (Wende) Glowacki for 26 years, enjoying tennis, metal detecting, politics, religion and being an avid reader. Denny was raised in Chicago, and in 1996 Denny and Mary moved to south Ga. They were married in Chicago in a civil ceremony in 1990, and in 2007 in Atlanta their marriage was con validated before God. Denny was a true conservative, actively campaigning for Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan and recently Ted Cruz. He always did his best to teach patience, kindness, and for the family to understand and embrace our traditional Catholic faith by passing along books, through long talks, and many 3AM emails. Denny worked as sales manager for Arlington Fastener Co for over 40 yrs. He was a loving husband, father and good friend and will be greatly missed. Denny is survived by his devoted wife Mary, his loving children Darlene (Michael) Hahnfeld, Mark (Debbie) Glowacki, Georgiann (Rick) Carlson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Deanna, Amber, Jacob, Samantha, Danielle, Logan, Tyler and Kylie. He was the cherished brother of Janice (Frank) Termini, loving uncle to all, a caring and fun son – in – law and brother in law. He was also a mentor and friend to many. In the last years of his life he fought the battle against cancer with grace, dignity and humor, doing his best to show all how to die a happy death. The funeral mass is Friday, July 29,2016 at 10 AM in the sanctuary of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 587 Landers Dr. SW, Mableton GA., 30126 with Father McCarthy officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Road, Newnan GA., 30263. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27th from 3 PM until 8 PM and on Thursday, July 28th from 3 PM until 8 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan Ga., 30263. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 587 Landers Dr. SW, Mableton GA., 30126.
