Renee Faulkner, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 2 at the age of 53, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on October 26, 1971 in Newnan, Renee lived a life filled with resilience and joy.Despite the difficulties she encountered, Renee was known for her infectious smile and unwavering ability to find happiness in every moment. She approached each day with optimism, turning ordinary gatherings into celebrations and lifting the spirits of those around her. Her positive outlook was a beacon of light for family and friends alike, reminding everyone that joy could be found amid adversity.Renee cherished her time working at Junction Lanes, where she formed deep bonds with her co-workers. They remember her as a dedicated team player who brought laughter and camaraderie to every shift, making long hours feel like fun outings. Her colleagues often shared stories of her quick wit and generous spirit, which made her an irreplaceable part of their work family.She also held dear her circle of close friends, with whom she shared countless adventures, heartfelt conversations, and unbreakable support. Whether it was a spontaneous road trip or a quiet evening together, Renee's friends treasured her loyalty and the way she made everyone feel valued and loved. During her illness, her compassionate neighbors stepped in to offer help and support, assisting with daily needs and checking in regularly, which meant the world to her. In her final days at the hospital, her devoted friends Pebbles and Ginny provided unwavering comfort and companionship by never leaving her side until the very end.Renee had a passion for sports and leisure activities that brought her immense joy. She was a devoted fan of Auburn football, never missing a game and cheering enthusiastically for her team. Bowling was not just a hobby but a favorite pastime where she excelled and made lasting memories with others. Additionally, she loved following the Atlanta Braves, celebrating their victories and sharing her enthusiasm with family and friends.Above all, Renee shared a special, unbreakable bond with her nephew, Drew. She was his confidante, cheerleader, and guiding light, always ready with a hug, wise advice, or a fun escapade. Their relationship was a testament to her nurturing heart, and she took immense pride in watching him grow, often saying he was the greatest joy in her life.Renee is survived by her sisters, Michelle (Oliver) Klinger and Misty Wright; her uncle, Jeff (Mary) Faulkner; her aunt, Mary Jane (Kenny) Thompson; her nieces and nephews Drew (Kayla) Phillips, Gabrielle, Garret, and Reece Klinger, Kane and Haley Wright; and many cousins that were more like siblings to her. She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Faulkner Jr.; her mother, Teresa Watts; both sets of grandparents, Mary and Tommy Faulkner, and Pat and Buddy Watts; and her uncle, Al Faulkner.A Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday October 26 from 1 until 3 at Junction Lanes in Newnan. Renee will be deeply missed, but her legacy of smiles, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
