Mrs. Ann Rainwater Houston, 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Moreland on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was born June 2, 1925 in Moreland on the same property where she lived and passed away. She was predeceased by her parents John Earl Rainwater & Mattie Thomas "Tommie" Hines Rainwater, husband Albert Houston, sons Randy Houston & John Houston, brother Joe Rainwater, nephew George Rainwater and dear childhood friend Frances Stephens Moore. Mrs. Ann was a lifelong resident of Moreland and a member of Moreland United Methodist Church. The funeral is 2 pm Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with interment following at Oak Hill Cemetery. The visitation is Monday evening between 6-8 pm at McKoon Funeral Home.
