Eric Leland Polly

September 7, 1977 - February 20, 2022

Eric Leland Polly, born in Parsons, KS, 44 years old, passed away on February 20, 2022, at his home, in Sharpsburg, GA, following a brief battle with cancer. Anyone who knew Eric, knew that he loved BIG. Family was always #1 for him. He loved his wife, Tammy, with everything in him, and she has truly been the perfect match for him, since the first day they met - a love to be emulated. He loved each of his boys, Rex, Chase, Heath and Kason, with such passion - that which he learned from his Grandfather, stepfather, and his uncles. He had an incredible strength in everything he did, and he did it to the fullest - his family, sports, work, gaming, you name it. He was always willing to help anyone with anything and was known for giving the best hugs and making sure to always turn any frowns upside down. An avid gamer and history buff, you could always count on a spirited conversation with Eric. We are all heartbroken all over again, as this last year has been tough on his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cathy and John Miller and L.J. Polly, grandparents Lois and Ed Wyrick and cousin Jonathan Respess. He leaves behind, wife, Tammy and their four sons, Rex, Chase, Heath and Kason, older sister, Melissa Polly (Misty Howell), as well as stepbrothers, Scott and Robert Miller and their families. Please keep Tammy, their boys and the rest of his family in your prayers. Rest easy Eric, we are thankful you aren't in pain any longer. We love you so very much and miss you terribly. The family has chosen to hold the following services: Visitation on Monday, February 28th from 5-7 pm ET, at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan, GA. Memorial service on Tuesday, March 1st at 2 pm ET, at East Newnan Baptist Church.
