Patricia Lynn Hollis

September 18, 1969 - February 8, 2021

On Monday morning, February 8, 2021, Patricia (Paddy) Lynn Hollis, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, went to her eternal home in heaven at the age of 51. Paddy was born September 18, 1969 in Oceanside California at Camp Pendleton Hospital to Larry Hahne and Alice Markovich. Paddy spent six years in the Navy and served during Desert Storm. It was during this time she met the love of her life, Jack Hollis. Paddy and Jack married each other August 5, 1995. During their 25 years of marriage Paddy had three children Brandon, Sydny, Lauren, and one grandchild Lucas. Paddy had a passion for her family. She spent many hours sharing in her children’s activities. She loved watching football, going to church on Sunday at Providence Baptist Church where she was a member, and spending time on the lake fishing with her husband. Paddy loved the beach and laying in the sun. She also loved teaching Sunday school alongside all the children who crossed the door of her Sunday School Classroom. Paddy had a smile that would light up the darkest day! She also had an open door policy—come in and have a cup of coffee or Diet Dr Pepper, share your laughs, joys, tears, and fears. She always listened without judgment. Paddy was preceded in death by her father Larry Dean Hahne Sr. She is survived by her loving husband Jack Hollis. Her three children Brandon Hollis, Sydny Hollis, and Lauren Johnson. Her grandchild Lucas Garcia. She is survived by her mother and stepfather Alice and Karl Markovich. Her siblings Katherine (David) Eddy, Jennifer (Tim) Mayfield, Larry (Marlene) Hahne. She is also survived by nieces and nephew’s Jacob, Nicholas, Dustin, Kassie, Ryan, in Tyler. Great nieces Gabriella, Lily, Jolene and one nephew Oliver. Paddy is also survived by her mother and father-in-law of Ken and Drusilla Norton, and sister- in-law Kenya Norton. The funeral service celebrating Paddy's life is Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan with Pastor Ken Norton officiating. Burial will follow the service at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
