Robert Edwin Stevenson, 71, of Newnan passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born November 13, 1948 in Sharpsburg, GA to the late Cecil Bryan Stevenson & Emma Lou Jacobs Stevenson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce O’Neal Stevenson and brother, Ray Stevenson. Mr. Robert worked for many years at Playtex before working for Utilities Support Systems, Inc. He was a longtime devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church. The visitation is Wednesday evening between 5:00-7:00 at McKoon Funeral Home. The funeral is 11:00 AM Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. John Riley & Rev. Matthew Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rather than flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Macedonia Baptist Church, 1504 Macedonia Road, Newnan, GA 30263.
