Roy Eversole

March 9, 1944 - June 22, 2022

Roy Eversole, 78, of Grantville, GA passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Emory University Hospital. He was born March 9, 1944 in Manchester, KY to the late Ford Eversole & Mary Roberts Eversole. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane and his daughter, Maryanne and siblings, Alton, Earl, and Alma Brooks. Roy was a proud veteran who honorably served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from General Motors after many years having never missed a single day of work. His faith was important to him and he was a member of The Church of God of The Union Assembly in Newnan. Roy loved life and always had a smile on his face. He was at an avid golfer and a true outdoorsman. The funeral is 3:00 pm Saturday, June 25, 2022 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 pm Saturday.
