Rudy Lipe Farrish joined the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Although the family will miss her dearly, she will always be remembered for her smile, laugh, quick wit, spunk, and joyful demeanor. Rudy was born in Springhill, Louisiana, the daughter of Ray Wilton Lipe and Sue Branch Lipe. Rudy lived throughout several states and in Canada during her childhood. Rudy graduated with undergraduate and graduate degrees from Mississippi State University and as anyone who knew her, was an avid fan. She would want all to know that Mississippi State are the defending National Champions in baseball. Rudy taught high school in Mobile, Alabama, but her biggest accomplishment of all was being a mother to five children, four boys and one girl. She spent the past thirty-four years in Newnan, Georgia as a homemaker and loving mother. She is survived by her children Taylor Farrish, Shelby (Farrish) BeDell, Peyton Farrish, Truitt Farrish and has been reunited with her son Parker Farrish, who passed four years ago. She was a beloved mother as well as proud Mimi to eight grandsons. Rudy was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and loved to share pictures and memories. Rudy loved college football, Gone with the Wind, old television shows, spoiling her grandsons, and keeping in touch with family and friends. She always remained positive in the face of adversity and had a smile on her face.
