Carson Allen Watring

Carson Allen Watring passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born Thursday, July 2, 1998 to Bill and Kala Watring and lived most of his life in Newnan, GA. Carson served in the United States Army and graduated from Southeast Lineman Training Center in Trenton, GA. He was awarded "Best All Around" in his graduating class. He found his passion as a Lineman and was employed by Lambert Cable Splicing when he passed. From a very young age Carson never met a stranger. He loved to read and was a talented writer. Growing up Carson and his older sister Lauren loved recording funny skits on the family camcorder and creating obstacle courses in the backyard. He loved his mom's sausage balls and Thanksgiving dressing. Carson enjoyed all things sports - fishing, golf, skateboarding and snowboarding to name a few. He loved Tennessee football and like his dad claimed to "bleed orange." Carson grew up in the airline family and was always up for an adventure - a trait that followed him into adulthood. He considered the outdoors, especially afternoons with a fishing pole in hand, to be his happy place. Above all else Carson was a loving father who adored his two boys Kash and Kade. Everything he did was to "make his boys proud." Carson had a tender heart with a love for animals and had dreams of growing his farm for his boys to enjoy. Carson is survived by his two sons Kashton and Kaden Watring, mother Kala Watring, sister and brother-in-law Lauren and Easton Stronach and their daughter, Carson's niece, Maeve. Carson is preceded in death by his father William Allen Watring and grandmother Barbara Ennis Watring. Carson is survived by grandparents Linda and Don Ainsworth and numerous friends and family in Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee, including the Hohenberger and Stinchcomb families. Carson touched the hearts of so many - his optimistic outlook on life, dry humor and caring spirit will live on through the many lives he impacted. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan.
