Deborah Laureyne Anderson

Deborah Laureyne Anderson, of East Hartford, Connecticut, peacefully entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family at her daughter's home in Senoia, Georgia, on September 4, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on August 12, 1955, Deborah was the daughter of Gustaf Lincoln Anderson and Lois Caroline Babb-Davis (Stepfather Howard E. Davis). Deborah lived a life deeply rooted in her Christian faith. Above all else, she loved Jesus with all her heart. Her unwavering devotion to the Lord guided her steps, shaped her character, and brought comfort to everyone who knew her. She was truly a woman of prayer, and her greatest desire was for others to experience the same grace and peace she found in Jesus. In addition to her profound faith, Deborah was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend. Her passing marks the end of a beautiful life, but her love, faith, and cherished memories will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Deborah is survived by her four children, whom she loved dearly: Jason McCord, Ryan McCord, Jeremiah (Camila) Chopus, and Cara (Chip) Dozert. She is also survived by her four siblings; Theodore Anderson, Gustaf Anderson Jr, Dean (Belinda) Davis and Frederic (Melissa) Davis. She was pre-deseased by her siblings Elaine C. Anderson and Howard E. Davis III. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who she adored. Her family were an important part of her life, and she will be remembered for the love, memories, and special moments she shared with each of them. She was also a cherished Nana to Emerie Dozert, Nolan Dozert, Bodhi Dozert, and Ethan Chopus-Rayner. Her grandchildren brought her great joy, and the memories they created together will remain forever in their family's hearts. Deborah will be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart, her strength, her sense of humor, and her gift for making everyone feel loved and welcome. She had a special way of making those around her feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her love for her family was reflected in the countless prayers she prayed, the conversations and laughter she shared, and the precious memories she created with them. Until we meet again, Mom.
