Mrs. Eula Marie Woodruff, 78, of Hogansville, Georgia, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born May 6, 1948. Marie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life reflected kindness, warmth, and unwavering love. She was truly a light in everyone's life-family or stranger alike. Her heart was open to all, and she had a way of making every person she met feel seen, valued, and welcomed. She loved deeply and without condition, and her family was always her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. For 59 years, she shared a beautiful life with her husband, Thomas Woodruff Sr., who survives her. Their marriage stood as a testament to commitment, faith, and enduring love. Together they built a family rooted in loyalty and care. Marie retired from The Papp Clinic, where she faithfully served as a Medical Records Specialist. She approached her work with diligence and compassion, understanding that even behind paperwork were real people and real stories. Outside of work, she found joy in simple pleasures-she loved to travel, explore new places, and especially loved fishing. Whether on the water with a rod in hand or planning her next trip, she embraced life with quiet enthusiasm and gratitude. She was a great mother who poured herself into her children and grandchildren. She loved everyone in her life fiercely and completely. Her legacy lives on in the strength, kindness, and devotion she instilled in her family. In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Thomas Frank Woodruff Jr. (Nikie Shelby); daughter, Deana Irvin (Eric Irvin); grandchildren, Jimmy Irvin (Jackie Irvin), Amelia McCarry (Ryan McCarry), Bailey Woodruff (Oliver Dudley); and great-grandchildren, Lindsey Irvin, Jay Irvin, Carter Weaver, Mason Irvin, and Michael McCarry. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the way she made the world brighter simply by being in it. Her love will continue to guide her family for generations to come. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan.
