In Loving Memory of Harley Christopher Vaughn Harley Christopher Vaughn, lovingly known simply as Chris, passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on December 22, 1972, Chris lived a life centered on faith, hard work, and, above all, his family. A resident of Sharpsburg, Georgia, he was known for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and the deep love he had for those closest to him. Chris dedicated his career to serving his community as a Wastewater Plant Operator for the City of Senoia. He took great pride in his work and was respected for his strong work ethic and commitment to serving others. More than anything, Chris loved his family fiercely. He was the beloved husband of Stacy Vaughn, a devoted father to Austin Vaughn, and a proud father-in-law to Baylee Vaughn. One of his greatest joys was becoming "Pop" to his precious granddaughter, Elliott Vaughn, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Connie and David Weddington and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Josh and Jennifer Weddington and their children Jager and his daughter Oakleigh, Jolie and her daughter Piper, Jacey and Judson whom he loved as his own, as well as his brothers, Brian Vaughn (Pricilla) and Eric Vaughn; his sister, Sherry Bethune (Larry); along with many nieces and nephews, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness and generous spirit. Chris will be remembered for his strength, his willingness to help others, his sense of humor, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His greatest legacy is the love he poured into his family, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Chris's life during a visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan. Though Chris's time with us was far too short, his love, laughter, and the countless memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Forever loved. Forever missed.
