Jeremy C. Yeager

Jeremy Chad Yeager, 40 of Newnan passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born February 22, 1979 in Newnan, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon and Siegrid Yeager. Jeremy was an avid sports collector over the last several years. He truly enjoyed going to signing events and meeting sport stars as well as other collectors. A huge Georgia Bulldog fan, he also enjoyed Atlanta Braves games and made it a point to always visit his friend Walter, the oldest and longest serving usher at Sun Trust Park. Jeremy was a man of simple means but had a huge heart and would help anyone, especially the elderly and animals. He had a wry sense of humor and wit. He enjoyed putting a smile on everyone’s face. He so much appreciated everyone that had a part in his care and treatment and all those that would check on him these past several years. Always keeping that sense of humor even when he wasn’t feeling his best and even to the very end. With all that said, Jeremy was also a man set in his own ways. He had his way of doing things and you were not going to change him, period. He had so much of his PawPaw and MawMaw in him, he loved them dearly and missed them everyday along with his longtime fur baby, Lacy. But through it all and when all is said and done, we will always cherish our love for him and will truly miss having him here with us, but he left us all knowing he loved us too. Jeremy is survived by his mother and stepfather, Gaylene (Bill) Pronevitch; sister, Kelli Yeager DuBose; aunts, Marsha (Fred) Dailey and Martina (Kyle) Wilson; uncles, Mike (Beverly) Yeager and Scott (Pangie) Yeager and many cousins and extended family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home 38 Jackson St. Newnan, GA with Rev. David Arrington officiating.
