Linda Barbara Jacques

It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Linda Jacques. Linda was predeceased by her husband Roland Jacques, Sr. Linda is survived by her children Shelly Guindon, Roland Jacques, Jr.(Kimberlynn Connell), Moreen Hartz (Scott); grandchildren Krystyn Bailey (Darryl Sorensen), Kathryn Perschon (Braden), Justin Jacques, Michael Hartz (Tiffany) and Logan Hartz, as well as great grandchildren Alexandrya Bailey and Carver Perschon. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie Humphrey. Linda passed peacefully at home on May 8, 2024, surrounded by family after a brief illness. She was aware that her time was limited and was so very grateful that all of her family was able to visit prior to passing. Linda was born in Manchester, NH and lived there for lengthy part of her life. She moved to Salt Lake City, Utah for several years, and then on to Newnan, GA where she spent her remaining years. Linda was a wonderful and supportive mother to her children and an absolute icon to her grandchildren. She was known for thinking they could do no wrong and if they did, it probably wasn't their fault. She took great pleasure in encouraging all to be the best they could be, to not be afraid to make changes or take risks and letting them know it's perfectly fine to change your path if you feel it's the right thing for you. She introduced them to the Beatles, dancing in the rain, rearranging your furniture on a regular basis, the hippie culture and all things 60s, the importance of reading, and so much more. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. We will dance in the rain for her and smile when we hear her favorite songs. In true hippie fashion, peace out Mom. We would like to extend our thanks to Georgia Hospice Care, Jessica in particular, for assisting us in providing comfortable last days for our mother. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
