In Loving Memory of Marcia Eden Myers October 23, 1948 - July 1, 2026 With profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for a life well served, we celebrate the life of Marcia Eden Myers, who peacefully departed this life on July 1, 2026, at the age of 77. Surrounded by the love of her family and the promise of God's grace, Marcia entered into her eternal home in Heaven, where she was renewed in everlasting life. Early Life Marcia was born on October 23, 1948, in Millen, Georgia, to Lloyd and Kathryn Long. As the daughter of a military family, her early years were spent in various communities, where she developed the values of faith, family, hard work, compassion, and resilience. These principles became the foundation of a life devoted to caring for others. Education Marcia attended College Park High School and later pursued numerous nursing certifications through professional development programs. Career Marcia dedicated 32 years of her life to the nursing profession. She cared for countless patients with compassion, dignity, and kindness, earning the respect and admiration of coworkers, physicians, and families alike. Her gentle spirit, professionalism, and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know and work beside her. Family and Personal Life Above all else, Marcia's greatest joy was her family and tremendous love for her pets. She was a devoted daughter, military wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose love knew no bounds. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and created memories that will be cherished for generations. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and pets were the center of her world, and she faithfully protected, encouraged, and loved them without reservation. Marcia will forever be remembered for her warm heart, sense of humor, steadfast support, gentle wisdom, and unconditional love. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.
